Worcester State took advantage of several Regis errors to take an 8-5 lead in the first set, but the Pride settled down and put together an 11-2 scoring run, capped by a service ace and a kill from Kamdyn Tenorio (Irvine, Calif.). Kaitlin Cueva earned three kills to lead the Lancers back within two at 21-19, but the Pride held off the rally, with a kill from Rita Dow (Nashua, N.H.) clinching the opening set.

Whalen opened the second set by scoring five of Regis' first six points on kills, and then Albers collected her three service aces as the Pride extended their lead to 13-4. Consecutive service aces by Jessica Rancourt allowed the Lancers to pull within five before the Pride scored seven of the next eight points, including two service aces by Serrano-Monserrate. The teams exchanged points the rest of the second set, with a Lancer service error clinching the set for the Pride.

Early in the third set, Montigny collected a kill to give the Pride a 6-2 advantage, but the Lancers struck back with four straight points, led by Maeve Cadogan with a kill and two service aces. Regis would score the next five points, capped by consecutive kills from Mckinney, and the Pride would maintain that lead for a significant amount of time. Worcester State made one final push, closing to within two points at 22-20 on a solo block by Cadogan, but Regis closed out the set and the match by scoring three of the final four points, capped by a kill from Albers.
