Women's Soccer drop home season opener to Emmanuel
North Adams, MA- Emmanuel College erupted tor seven second half goal this afternoon enroute to a 10-0 lopsided victory over the MCLA Women's Soccer team. The Saints used a balance attack that featured seven different goal scorers and 13 different players earning at least a point.
Junior Addie Legault (Farmington, CT) led the way scoring twice while teammate first year Liz McCormick (Cumberland, RI) had a pair of assists.
Emmanuel first year goalkeeper Patricia Kirejczyk (Astonia, CT) earned the victory having to make just one save. MCLA 's Jill Currier (Troy, NY) made 13 save on the day but falls to 0-2 on the young season.
Emmanuel (2-0) will be action next Tuesday as they host crosstown rival Wentworth.
MCLA (0-2) will continue its nonconference slate next Saturday as it travels to Sage for a 5pm kick-off.
