Quintero Posts Second Straight Shutout as Men's Soccer Ties Bridgewater State
Senior Louis Quintero turned aside eight shots in the 0-0 draw
BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Louis Quintero (Boston, Mass.) made eight saves to record his second straight shutout and third in four games this season as the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's soccer team tied Bridgewater State, 0-0, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Bridgewater State went on an early attack, putting a shot on goal in the second minute of play. The Leopards countered with a shot of their own in the eighth minute, as the teams traded shots early on.
- The Bears had a chance to take the lead in the 37th minute as a corner kick led to a shot attempt which was blocked out of bounds. The second corner kick would not yield a scoring opportunity for the visitors.
- Quintero made saves in the 41st and 44th minute to keep the game scoreless at the break.
- To open the second half, Quintero made a pair of saves and Wentworth had a scoring chance in the 56th minute when senior Paolo Ruggieri (Canton, Mass.) had a shot saved by Bridgewater State senior William Russell (Sandwich, Mass.). The rebound went out of bounds, however, the ensuing corner kick would not give the Black & Gold a scoring chance.
- Both teams had chances late, however, Quintero and Russel came up with saves to keep the game scoreless.

- Today was the third all-time meeting between the two teams. Wentworth leads, 2-0-1.
