Men’s Basketball Ransack Rivier 91-69

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The MCLA Men's Basketball team had three players in double digits and pulled away in the second half to down the Rivier University Raiders 91-69. The win improved the Trailblazers' record to 2-0 to open the season.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior guard Quentin Gittens just missed a double-double, scoring 18 points on 6-11 shooting and pulling down nine rebounds. Gittens also contributed seven assists and three steals.
- Freshman Hayden Morris-Gray also added 18 points to tie with Gittens for the team-high. Sixteen of Morris-Gray's points came in the second half as the Trailblazers pulled away after leading at the half by only a single point.
- Senior forward Mamadou Diallo joined Gittens and Morris-Gray in the double-digit scoring club, contributing 12 points in only 20 minutes.
- The Raiders Ahamadou Sillah had a game-high 32 points, shooting 11-16 from the field and 9-11 from the charity stripe. Nikolas Pignone was the other Raider to reach double-digit points, scoring 12 points while also recording a game-high four steals.
