This time MCLA would stay within striking distance and after a Chloie Garber (Eagle River, AK) kill, the Trailblazers would take their first lead of the match at 17-16. Neither team would have more than a one-point lead going forward until following an Elizabeth Brown (Lee, MA) kill to tie the set at 23-23, the Owls closed things out winning the final two points to take the set 25-23 and to complete the sweep 3-0.

Ashley Crowley (10 kills, 10 digs), Shawna Crowley (12 kills, 17 digs) and Julia Dangel-Garcia (14 digs, 27 assists) led the way for Westfield State who now tied with Framingham State atop the MASCAC standings.
