NORTH ADAMS, MASS. – Fisher College fell 5-1 to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA). The Falcons' record moves to 3-10-3, while MCLA improves to 3-12-0.
MCLA's Gwendolyn Duggan (Palmer, Mass.) scored an unassisted goal at 3:24 and assisted on two others. Fisher responded in the 55th minute with a goal from senior Jennifer Do Carmo (Sao Paulo, Brazil), assisted by senior Jenna McCullouh (Buffalo Grove, Ill.). MCLA added four more goals, including two from senior Natalie Rich (Waterford, N.Y.).
Fisher's goalkeeper, senior Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.), made 17 saves in 90 minutes. MCLA's goalkeepers, Mallory Amirian and Destiny Rivas, combined for 5 saves.
Fisher's final game of the season is on October 30 at Framingham State University at 7:00 pm, while MCLA closes their season with Bridgewater State University on November 2 at 1:00 pm.
