881 Student-Athletes Earn Spot on 2021 MASCAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team
A total of 881 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s 2021 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Worcester State's Bernice Mensah Named MASCAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year
After capturing several MASCAC track and field individual titles throughout her collegiate career, Worcester State’s Bernice Mensah will add another honor to her already impressive resume. She was named the MASCAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as voted on by the league’s Athletic Directors.

MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 5/3
The Worcester State trio of Abigail MacGregor, Bernice Mensah, and Odelia Konadu swept the MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly honors brought to you by GEICO. MacGregor and Mensah were the Track Athlete and Field Athlete of the Week, respectively, while Konadu won the Rookie of the Week honor.

Bridgewater Earns MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship
Bridgewater State captured its first MACAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship since 2015. The Bears won six individual events and the 4x400-meter relay, contributing to a 198.5 team score.

MASCAC Statement on Winter Sports Competition
The NCAA has released winter sport guidelines and the state of Massachusetts recently updated their winter sport policies. After an in-depth review of the information from the state and NCAA, consultation among the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Presidents, athletic directors, and athletic trainers and after exhausting all possibilities, including a review of the risks involved, the eight MASCAC Presidents have made the difficult decision to cancel all winter sports competition. This includes the sports of men’s and women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey and men’s and women’s indoor track and field.
