18 MASCAC Student-Athletes Earn IWLCA Academic Honors
18 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference student-athletes have been named to the 2019 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll as announced by the organization.

18 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference student-athletes have been named to the 2019 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports NCAA Division III Academic Honor Roll as announced by the organization.
Hayley Barner, Elizabeth Ettridge, Victoria McDonough, Kerrin O'Leary and Hayley White of Bridgewater State, Alyssa Anderson, Marguerite Belcher, Molly Cote, Michelle Hennessey and Nicole Kopacz of Fitchburg State, Emily Burnett and Nicole Pacheco of Framingham State, Lucy Barrett, Sam Donohoe, Lily Howes and Kirsten Longbottom of Westfield State and Kelly Austin and Isabell Baldrate of Worcester State were honored by the organization.
To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or greater.
Bridgewater State, Fitchburg State, Framingham State, Westfield State and Worcester State also received team academic recognition from the IWLCA. The five MASCAC schools joined 309 schools from across Division I, II, III and the NAIA to be recognized as an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for the 2018-2019 academic year. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by teams with cumulative grade point averages (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the academic year.
