Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week |
Higgins captured the meet title in the 400-meter run at the Plymouth State Panther Invitational with a season-best time of 50.69 seconds. Also placed second in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:35.81. Helped the Bears post a second place finish in the team standings at the meet. Currently ranks fourth in the New England in the 400. |
Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week |
Johnson broke his own school record in the weight throw to lead the Bears at the Panther Invitational hosted by Plymouth State. Placed first in the weight throw with a toss of 17.44m (57’ 2.75”) as he eclipsed his previous mark set earlier this season at the Tufts Jumbo Invitational. Helped the Bears post a second place finish in the team standings. Currently ranks 19th in all of Division III in the weight throw and fourth in New England. |
Men's Indoor Rookie of the Week |
Barnes won the long jump at the Plymouth State Panther Invitational with a leap of 6.52m (21’ 4.75”). Also placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.80m (5’ 10.75”). Helped the Bears post a second place finish in the team standings at the meet. Currently ranks 11th in New England in the event. |
