Plymouth State to Visit #12 Endicott in NCAA Tournament

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State University will visit #12 Endicott College in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament on Saturday (Mar. 14) at 7:00 p.m.
The Panthers (15-9-3) punched their ticket with a 6-2 win over UMass Dartmouth in the title game of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) tournament, while Endicott (22-5-0) won the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship by topping Wentworth, 2-0.
Plymouth State is back in the tournament for the fourth time (2011-12, 2014-15, 2018-19, 2019-20) and second straight year. Last winter the Panthers were nipped by #6/#8 Hobart, 2-1, in the opening round. PSU is searching for its first NCAA tournament win.
Endicott is making its second appearance in the tournament since achieving varsity status in 2015-16. The Gulls won the 2016-17 CCC championship and went on to beat #4/#5 Hobart, 4-3, in the first round before falling in the quarterfinals.
