Rookie of the Week
Xavier Betancourt, Fitchburg State
Freshman, Guard, Tampa, Fla.
Betancourt averaged 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one
block per contest in two games for the Falcons. Posted 12 points, four rebounds
and two blocks in a 73-67 triumph over Becker College on Monday before adding
16 points, two caroms, two assists and two steals in an 89-74 setback to WPI on
Saturday.
