Fitchburg State's Cordeau, Salem State's Briana and Westfield State's Crowley Named to NEIBA/ABCA All-New England Teams
Fitchburg State's Nicholas Cordeau, Salem State's Traverse Briana and Westfield State's Anthony Crowley were named to the NEIBA/ABCA All-New England Teams as announced by the organization today.

Fitchburg State's Nicholas Cordeau, Salem State's Traverse Briana and Westfield State's Anthony Crowley were named to the NEIBA/ABCA All-New England Teams as announced by the organization today.
Cordeau earned a spot on the third team while Briana and Crowley found themselves on this year's second team. Briana and Crowley along with Framingham State's Kyle Hodgson were named to the D3baseball.com All-New England team last week while Crowley earned Honorable Mention All-American honors yesterday from D3baseball.com.
Cordeau witnessed a stellar sophomore season, leading the team in several offensive categories, including hits (59), runs scored (46), RBI (41), triples (4), home runs (8) and stolen bases (19), while finishing in tie for the team lead in double with eight. In addition, Cordeau broke the Falcons single season records for hits and total bases (99) as well as tying the program record for most home runs in a season. For his efforts, the sophomore outfielder was also named to the MASCAC All-Conference First Team.
Briana led the nation with a school record .528 batting average and also set a school record with a .578 on base percentage in his first year with the Vikings. He topped the MASCAC in slugging percentage (.731) and placed in the top-five in the league in home runs (4), doubles (10), hits (57) and total bases (79). He also committed just one error in 214 total chances for an impressive .995 fielding percentage. He landed a spot on the MASCAC All-Conference First Team for his efforts.
This is the third post-season award for Crowley in the past week. Crowley, the 2019 MASCAC Player of the Year for the second straight year, had a stellar season for the Owls. He batted .377 with nine home runs, 10 doubles and 38 runs batted in. He walked 36 times and scored 30 runs in 40 games this season. Crowley graduates as the Owls all-time home-run hitter with 30 home runs and is the school's career leader in RBI with 151, total bases with 321, and slugging percentage (.679). He also ranks among Westfield State's all-time leaders in hits, walks, doubles, triples, runs scored.
