Westfield, MA – The Elms College women's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss at Westfield State University on Wednesday evening. The loss is the worst for the Blazers sinc 2013, and puts Elms at 6-5-1 on the season.
The Owls got off to a fast start scoring just five minutes into the game, and would double their lead to 2-0 at the 10:47 mark. The game would go into the break with the Owls holding a 2-0 advantage.
The second half would see Westfield pull away, the Owls would score five goals in the half and take the win 7-0.
Elms is back in action on Saturday 10/5 with they jump back in NECC play and host New England College at 3:00PM on Leary Field.
