Men’s Basketball falls to #6 Williams, 87-59

 

North Adams, MA- Williams College got 18 points from Declan Porter and 17 from Cole Prowitt-Smith as the Ephs rolled over MCLA tonight 87-59. With the win Williams improves to 4-0 while MCLA drops to 3-5.

Williams would jump out to an early 12-5 lead but the Trailblazers would close the gap to just two at the 12:17 mark, 14-12. MCLA would only manage to stay within striking distance for few more minutes as Williams closed the half strong heading into the locker room with a 39-25 advantage.

The Ephs would leave little doubt coming out of halftime stretching the lead to 67-39 midway through the second half and cruised to the finish line earning their fourth victory of the season, 87-59.

In addition to Porter and Prowitt-Smith, Nate Karren tallied 16 points for the Ephs.

MCLA was led by Amon Moore with 12 points and Korey Greenland who chipped in 10 points.

Williams next plays on Sunday, November 27th at St. Lawrence while the Trailblazers are off until next Tuesday when they will host Sage at 7pm.
