Baruch Defeats Worcester State, Eleven Different Players Score in Home Win

The men's basketball team recorded a 77-60 home win against the Lancers of Worcester State University in a makeup contest on Monday night in the ARC Arena.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play on December 2, but the game was postponed due to weather issues.

The visiting Lancers from Massachusetts led throughout the opening eight minutes, but the Bearcats took control to lead by as much as 37-23 with 2:33 left in the first half.

The Bearcats did not take their foot off the pedal and started the second half by scoring eight of the first 11 points to increase their lead up to 52-33.

The Lancers were unable to rally back as the Bearcats won for the 22nd time in their last 23 games at home in the ARC Arena.

Adnan Bajrami led 11 Bearcats' scorers in the stats sheet with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ryan Graziano came off the bench to score 11 points.

Sam Dion led the Lancers from the Little East Conference with 19 points.
