Women’s Soccer Bests Salem State, 4-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's soccer team defeated Salem State, 4-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Hempstead Stadium.

Ella Morgan (Salem, Mass.), Julia Matus (East Greenwich, R.I.), Lindsey Papa (Tolland, Conn.), and Gabrielle Klindtworth (Guilderland, N.Y.) all scored in the victory (4', 12', 45', 67').

Meanwhile, Grace Jewett (Millis, Mass.), Morgan Hubert (Southington, Conn.), Alexandria Dostie (Essex Junction, Vt.), Kelly Talerico (Portland, Conn.), and Matus notched assists for the Gulls. 

Talerico and Matus were credited with helpers on the last goal, while Jewett, Hubert, and Dostie set up the first three tallies in respective order.

In goal, Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) made one save to improve to 2-0-1 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 11-7-6 all-time against Salem State.
  • The Gulls have won the last two matchups by a 14-1 differential.
  • Matus leads the team in goals with four so far on the year.
  • Jewett ranks first on the team in assists with three total.
