Madden placed third out of a field of 125 entrants at the season-opening Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State at the Doyle Conservation Center. Covered the 5k course in a time of 19:06. Helped the Bears to a third place team finish out of 12 teams. |

Rookie of the Week |
| Phair finished second at the Worcester City Invitational at Moore State Park with a 5k time of 20:10. The Owls finished with 29 points to finish first overall |
