Three Student-Athletes, Two Teams Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
Following the completion of the fall 2017 season, Jake Hastings of Fitchburg State, Jessie Cardin of Westfield State and Mia Rogers of Worcester State earned USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic honors while Fitchburg State and Worcester State women's cross country teams were recognized with team accolades.

Following the completion of the fall 2017 season, Jake Hastings of Fitchburg State, Jessie Cardin of Westfield State and Mia Rogers of Worcester State earned USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic honors while Fitchburg State and Worcester State women's cross country teams were recognized with team accolades.
To earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) and finish in the top-25 percent at their respective regional.
In total, there were 668 student-athletes named USTFCCCA All-Academic with women accounting for 55 percent of that total number (368).
On the team side, Fitchburg State and Worcester State women's cross country both earned honors from the organization. The Falcons finished the fall semester with a 3.31 team GPA while the Lancers had a 3.44 GPA collectively.
In order to be considered for this distinction, the team must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
Overall, there were 388 teams honored by the USTFCCCA today. Of those teams, 221 of them were women's programs and 167 of them were men's.
