Three MASCAC Student-Athletes Earn ECAC DIII New England Weekly Honors
Three MASCAC student-athletes have earned weekly accolades for their respective sports given out by the Eastern College Athletic Conference which were announced this week.

Three MASCAC student-athletes have earned weekly accolades for their respective sports given out by the Eastern College Athletic Conference which were announced this week.
Jake Hastings of Fitchburg State earned Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week while Matthew Krikorian also of Fitchburg State was named Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week. For the third straight week, Alycia Rackliffe of Framingham was named the Volleyball Player of the Week.
Hastings placed first overall at the 2016 MASCAC Men's Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:08 over the 8K layout to earn MASCAC Runner of the Year honors as the top individual finisher to lead the Fitchburg State men's cross country team to a second place finish at the Doyle Conservation Center on Saturday afternoon.
Krikorian picks up his third weekly accolade of the year after posting six points on three goals scored in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. The first-year Falcon netted one marker in a 2-1 setback to Springfield College on Tuesday before adding a pair of scores in a 2-0 triumph over Salem State on Saturday.
Rackliffe earns her third straight and sixth over ECAC Player of the Week honor this season after averaging 19.8 kills, 16 digs and 4.5 blocks with a .281 hitting percentage in a 3-1 week for the Rams where they wrapped up the 2016 MASCAC Regular Season Championship. Rackliffe recorded 24 kills, 20 digs and seven blocks in a 3-2 win over Worcester State. She compiled 22 kills and 18 digs in a five se loss to Rhode Island College and 21 kills, 12 digs and five blocks in a straight set win over Curry.
