MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Awards 4/2
Bridgewater State's Kiara Abrantes, Fitchburg State's Makany Camara and Worcester State's Ciara Adu-Addo earn the first MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly accolades as the outdoor season got underway.

Abrantes placed fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.45 seconds this past weekend at the Kennesaw State Invitational. Also finished 15th in the 200-meter dash (25.53). Recorded outdoor best times in both events. Currently ranks 18th in all of Division III in the 400 and third in the East Region. Also 41st nationally in the 200 and fourth in the East Region. |
Women's Outoor Field Athlete of the Week |
Camara took top honors in the high jump with a DIII New England qualifying mark of 1.62 meters, while adding a first place, DIII NE qualifying time of 15.58 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles. Finished tenth in the 100 meter with a time of 13.38 seconds as well as leading the 4x100 meter relay team to a fourth place time of 54.69 seconds at the 2024 Corsair Invitational on Saturday. Currently ranked 11th in Division III in the high jump and first in the East Region. |

Adu-Addo claimed second at the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs invitational in the long jump with a top leap of 4.98m and helped lead the 4x100 team to a second place finish with a time of 53.04. |
