MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field 2/6
Alison McDonough and Serenity Sands of Bridgewater State along with Ciara Adu-Addo of Worcester State take home the MASCAC Women's Indoor Track and Field weekly awards as we head into the indoor championship on Saturday.

McDonough captured top honors in the 60-meter dash at the Tufts Cupid Challenge with a school record and finals time of 7.75 seconds. Added a first-place performance in the 60-meter hurdles with a finals time of 8.82 seconds and won the long jump with a BSU indoor record leap of 5.42m. Currently ranks eighth in all of Division III in the 60 hurdles, 22nd in the 60 dash and 41st in the long jump. Also first in the East Region in the hurdles and second in both the 60 and long jump. |

Sands won the high jump with a school indoor record leap of 1.71m this past weekend at the Tufts Cupid Challenge. Eclipsed the Bears’ previous indoor standard of 1.70m which she shared with former Bear and current assistant coach, Samantha Richner. Currently ranks third in all of Division III in the high jump and first in the East Region. |
Women's Indoor Rookie of the Week |
Adu-Addo claimed first with a personal best and team best in the long jump with a leap of 5.30m at the Panther Indoor Invite. Currently fourth in the East region in the event. |
