MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Weekly Report 4/11
Jailene Escalera of Bridgewater State, Makany Camara of Fitchburg State and Eliza Lee of Westfield State claim the MASCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field weekly honors after the trio competed at the Springfield Invite, Jim Sheehan Invite and Coast Guard Invite on Saturday.

Escalera captured top honors and set the school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.29 seconds this past weekend at the Springfield College Classic. Also placed first in the 100-meter dash with a career-best time of 12.47 seconds, and ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x100-meter relay squad which placed second at the meet with a time of 49.29 seconds. Currently ranks 27th in all of Division III in the 200. Also ranks second in the East Region in the 200 and fourth in the 100. |

Camara took top honors in the high jump with a DIII New England qualifying mark of 1.60m, while placing first overall in the 100 meter hurdles with a DIII NE qualifying time of 15.85 seconds for the Green and Gold at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite on Saturday. Currently ranked 26th in Division III in the high jump. |
Women's Outdoor Rookie of the Week |
Lee earned a second-place mark in the triple jump with a distance of 10.59m and also logged sixth place in the long jump (5.01m) as the Owls competed at the Coast Guard Invitational in New London, Conn. on Saturday afternoon. |
