Westfield State’s Rennich Named MASCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Year, The Owls Cochran Earns Defensive Player of the Year, Headline the 2022 MASCAC Women’s Soccer All-Conference Team
Jenn Rennich and Jaida Cochran of Westfield State have earned the 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2022 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference.

Westfield, Mass. — Jenn Rennich and Jaida Cochran of Westfield State have earned the 2022 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2022 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference.
Rennich, a graduate student from Bedford, Mass., closed out her career with Westfield State as the MASCAC Offensive Player of the Year after a conference-leading 23 goals and 53 points. She also assisted on seven others for the third-most in the league. Earlier this season, she broke the school record for career points and assists which are currently at 145 and 45, respectively. During her time with the Owls, she has been named a MASCAC All-Conference honoree four times, College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-American and numerous MASCAC All-Academic accolades.
Joining teammate Rennich as a major award winner, Jaida Cochran of Westfield State is the 2022 MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year. The sophomore from Middleboro, Mass. helped the Owls hold their opponents to only 16 goals and 0.84 goals against this season while collecting 11 shutouts on the season. This is Cochran’s second straight First Team All-Conference accolade after earning it during her first season with the squad in 2021.
Erin Condon of Worcester State is the 2022 MASCAC Rookie of the Year. The freshman from East Bridgewater, Mass. finished the season second on the team in goals with seven while assisting on four more for 18 points. In the 3-0 win over Salem State, Condon found the back of the net twice in the win while also netting a goal and assist against Westfield State in October.
After leading the Falcons to a 5-1-1 conference record for a tie in second place and the third seed in the tournament, Jeb Booth of Fitchburg State was named the 2022 BSN Sports Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year as voted by his peers.
Sitting on the MASCAC First Team with Rennich, Cochran and Condon are Megan Keller and Delaney Langton of Bridgewater State, Maddie Hippert and Taylor Senecal of Fitchburg State, Jetta Oskirko of Framingham State, Jillian Currier of MCLA, Kylee Murphy and Delaney Parker of Westfield State and Kristen Beidleman of Worcester State.
Earning a spot on the 2022 MASCAC Second Team are Logan Levesque and Michelle Belcher of Bridgewater State, Patricia Pallotta of Fitchburg State, Cathryn Cooney and Victoria Potter of Framingham State, Alyssa Porter of MCLA, Taylor Blanton of Mass. Maritime, Marissa Jacob and Jenna Hurlburt of Westfield State and Haley Mignon and Hailey Skowronski of Worcester State.
