MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards 4/22
After claiming conference wins last week, Hannah Guerin of Framingham State, Mckayla Fisher of Worcester State and Willow Romo of Westfield State are the MASCAC Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week honors.

Guerin tallied a school record 14 points on nine goals and five assists in the Rams’ 24-11 win over Bridgewater State. Added a groundball and a 84.6 shot on goal percentage in the lone game of the week. |
Defensive Player of the Week
Mykayla Fisher, Worcester State
Sophomore, Midfield, Peabody, Mass.
Fisher finished with seven groundballs, a caused turnover and six draw controls in a 1-1 week for the Lancers.
Also added three goals and three assists. Had four groundballs, five draws and a caused turnover in the 17-2
win over Salem State. Added three more groundballs and a draw in the 16-7 setback to Westfield State.
Rookie of the Week |
Romo scored four goals in two games with three ground balls as the Owls won a pair of conference games. Netted three goals and three ground balls in a 21-6 win over Fitchburg State and added a goal in the 16-7 win over Worcester State to remain undefeated in league action. |
