Hannah Guerin of Framingham State and Meredith Sylvia of Bridgewater State take home the first MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week honors after kicking off their season with non-conference action.

Guerin collected 12 goals and an assist along with three ground balls, a draw control and caused turnover in a 1-2 week for the Rams. Netted five goals in the 17-2 win over Wellesley College, five goals, a ground ball and a draw control in the 21-14 setback to Springfield College and ended the week with two goals and an assist in the 14-10 setback to Endicott College. |

Sylvia potted four goals to go along with six ground balls, two draw controls and four caused turnovers in four games for the Bears. Tallied a goal, a ground ball, a draw control and a caused turnovers 19-5 loss to U.S. Coast Guard Academy; a goal, a ground ball, a draw control and a caused turnover in a 15-5 win over Salve Regina University; and two goals, four ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 15-14 setback to University of New England. |
