Five Teams, 14 Student-Athletes Earn IWLCA Division III Academic Honors
Five MASCAC teams and 14 student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll as announced by the organization Monday.

Five MASCAC teams and 14 student-athletes have been named to the 2018 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll as announced by the organization Monday.
Bridgewater State, Fitchburg State, Framingham State, Westfield State and Worcester State received team recognition for the 2017- 18 academic year. The IWLCA named 339 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women’s lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
14 MASCAC student-athletes received individual recognition for their academic success over the 2017-18 year. In total, the IWLCA honored 631 student-athletes from 187 different institutions on the 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Fitchburg State: Lia Crutchfield, Marguerite Belcher, Anna Gagnon-Burch, Michelle Hennessey

Massachusetts Maritime: Mikayla Correia
Westfield State: Lucy Barrett, Allie Fedak, Brooke Williams, Stephanie Godek
