Bridgewater State’s Renauld Headlines 2017 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team
Senior Melissa Renauld of Bridgewater State has been named the 2017 Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Year and headlines this year’s all-conference team in a vote taken of the eight coaches from around the league.

Westfield, Mass. — Senior Melissa Renauld of Bridgewater State has been named the 2017 Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year and headlines this year's all-conference team in a vote taken of the eight coaches from around the league.
Renauld, a senior from Framingham, Mass. helped the Bears to a perfect 7-0 conference record and the top seed in the MASCAC Tournament. She finished first in the MASCAC in goals with 49 and total points at 72 with 23 assists, 45 draw controls, 28 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers. Renauld was the MASCAC Rookie of the Year in 2014 and earns her third All-Conference honor this year.
Grace Gamache of Framingham State earned the 2017 MASCAC Rookie of the Year while helping the Rams to the third seed in the conference Tournament. The freshman from Dartmouth, Mass. netted 48 goals, the second-most in the conference with six assists, 40 draw controls, 18 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
After leading the Bears to the MASCAC regular season title and the top seed in the tournament, Erica Adams of Bridgewater State has been named the 2017 Champion's Choice Coach of the Year.
Earning a spot on the 2017 MASCAC First Team with Renauld and Gamache are Bridgewater State's Taylor Brown, Elizabeth Ettridge and Allie Forman, Fitchburg State's Lia Crutchfield, Ali Laferriere, Carrie Long, Framingham State's Kimmy Foley, Westfield State's Sydney Lambert and Worcester State's Mackenzie Little and Angelina Sutherland.
Sitting on the 2017 MASCAC Second-Team All-Conference squad are Bridgewater State's Victoria McDonough, Framingham State's Mallory Fredericks, Indigo Fox Tree-McGrath and Nicole Pacheco, MCLA's Natalie Caney, Massachusetts Maritime's Kianna Carpenter, Salem State's Courtney Smith and Carolyn Woodin, Westfield State's Caroline Arket, Stephanie Godek, Marissa Nimeskern and Alexa Tonelli.
