MASCAC Women's Ice Hockey Weekly Awards 2/24
Emily DeSimone of Plymouth State, Lila Chamoun of Framingham State and Keegan McGahern of Rivier are the MASCAC Women's Ice Hockey Player, Goalie and Rookie of the Week award winners.

DeSimone notched a goal and three assists while dominating the faceoff circle (69.7%) to help PSU to an unbeaten week, a share of the MASCAC regular season title and the top seed for the MASCAC Tournament. Her career-high four-point game sparked the Panthers in the 7-0 win over Framingham State. She notched the game winner late in the first period and added assists on each of PSU’s next two goals before adding another helper in the final seconds of the second. She won 19-of-22 faceoffs for the game. |

Chamoun registered a 0.75 GAA, .985 save percentage and 64 stops in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Made 48 saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Anna Maria earning the program’s first victory. |
