Rachel of Kusz of Bridgewater State and Rebecca Sapouckey of Westfield State are the MASCAC Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week honorees.

Rachel Kusz Kusz averaged 14 points, two rebounds, 1.5 assists and a steal while shooting 63 percent (10-16) from the field to lead the Bears to the MASCAC Tournament title and earn Tournament MVP accolades. Scored 12 points with two rebounds and two assists in the 59-45 semifinal win over Worcester State then added 16 points, two rebounds, an assist and steal in the 60-57 championship game victory over Westfield State.

Sapouckey averaged 5.5 points, six rebounds and 1.5 blocks in a 1-1 week for the Owls in the MASCAC Tournament. Grabbed eight rebounds and scored five points in the 79-65 semifinal win over Framingham State and six points with four rebounds in the 60-57 setback to Bridgewater State in the championship game. |
