• The Rams got on the board in their first at bat of the day. With two outs, Carpenter singled to center and Shelby Roode reached on an error allowing Carpenter to score the game's first run. 

• The Bears threatened in the bottom of the frame loading the bases with two outs, but Ally Moran was able to get a strikeout and end the inning. 

• The Rams pushed the lead to 3-0 with a pair of runs in the top of the third.  Roode plated both  runs with a single down the right field line. 

• The Bears answered with two in the bottom of the frame cutting the deficit to 3-2. Megan Sharon tripled to right center plating Amelia Blake who had walked. Madison Dana followed with an RBI single that scored Sharon.  

• The Rams quickly extended the lead to 6-2 with three in the top of the fourth. Zoe Smyth reached on an error allowing Kelsey McGuill, who had singled, to score. Morgan Poli and Carpenter each delivered RBI singles to right to finish the inning. 

• The Bears added a single run in the bottom of the sixth on an Emma Healy RBI ground out and the Rams tacked on one in the top of the seventh on a Mercedes Jimenez double to reach the final margin.    

• Moran earned the victory in the circle tossing a complete. She allowed three earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts. 

• Carpenter finished the game with three hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the Rams, while Roode collected two hits and three RBI. 

• Kelley Reichert took the loss for the Bears in the circle going seven innings allowing seven runs, four earned, on 11 hits with three strikeouts. 

MASCAC Championship Game 2 – Framingham State 7, Bridgewater State 0 

• Caroline Hughes tossed a complete game shutout in game two to help lead the Rams to the title. Hughes went seven innings allowing just six hits while walking none and striking out six. 

• The Rams once again grabbed the early lead in game two with a run in the bottom of the first. The Rams loaded the bases with one out after a pair of walks, a sacrifice and an error. McGuill followed with a sacrifice fly to center for the 1-0 lead. 

• Three runs in the bottom of the second extended the Rams lead to 4-0. Poli plated the first run with an RBI single and Brooke Grassia followed with an RBI single of her own. Carpenter added an RBI double to cap the inning. 

• The Rams added three more in the third to extend the lead to 7-0. Keely Scotia recorded an RBI single and Jimenez scored from third on a wild pitch. Camille Desrochers added a sacrifice fly to center in the inning. 

• Poli finished game two with a pair of hits, a run scored and an RBI, while Scotia scored twice for the Rams and added an RBI.   

• Madelyn Klingel took the loss for the Bears going two inning and allowing six runs, two earned, on four hits with three walks.
