Kasey Nolan from Salem State was selected as the MASCAC Softball Player of the Week award, brought to you by GEICO. Bridgewater State's Natalie Sorrenti and Fitchburg State's Olivia Pietersen earn the Pitcher and Rookie of the Week awards.

Kasey Nolan Batted .588 (10-for-17) with four extra base hits, six runs, and six RBI for Salem State this week. Went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in a 12-9 victory over Dean. Collected three more hits, including a triple with two runs and two RBI in a 7-6 extrainning win over Norwich and had a 2-for-4 day at the plate with another triple in a 9-7 loss to Immaculata. |

Natalie Sorrenti Went 1-2 in the circle with three complete games in three starts for the Bears last week at The Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. Posted a 1.42 earned run average and fanned 13 batters with just two walks in 19.3 innings of work. Allowed one run on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts in a 5-1 win over Coast Guard. Gave up just two unearned runs on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts in a 2-1 setback to SUNY Potsdam and four runs (three earned) on eight hits with no walks and three strikeouts in a 4-2 loss to Simpson. |

Olivia Pietersen Batted .455 (10-for-22) with two doubles, two triples, three runs scored, and eight RBI in a seven games for the Falcons. Went a combined 5-for-6 with two runs scored, one double, one triple, and three RBI in a pair of wins over La Roche and Clarks Summit on Tuesday before going 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI in a 9-7 triumph over Greenville on Thursday. Concluded the week by going 2-for-4 with a double, triple, one run scored and five RBI in a 17-5 victory over Keystone on Friday. |
