William Canty
Westfield State
Junior • Grafton, Mass.
Canty won the New England Division III championship in the 400 meters and ran a leg of the Owls champion 4x400 relay at the Division III New England Championships. Crossed the line first in the 400 in 48.47 seconds and helped the Owls 4x400 relay along with Connor Gottzmann, Estefan Jack and Mitch Maslowski win in a time of 3:19.10.
Colin McCabe
Mass. Maritime
Sophomore • Dartmouth, Mass.
McCabe took home the DIII New England shot put crown with a personal best and school record throw of 16.78m (55’ 0.75”) at the Division III New England Championships. Currently ranked sixth nationally in the event after this weekend.
Jacob DeAndrade
Bridgewater State
Freshman • Taunton, Mass.
DeAndrade earned All-New England honors in the 100-meter dash at the Division III New England Championships this past weekend. Posted a career-best time of 10.77 seconds to place fourth in the event. Also ran a leg on the Bears’ All-England 4x100-meter relay team which placed fourth with a time of 42.26 seconds.
