Joshua Higgins
Bridgewater State
Junior • Fitchburg, Mass.
Higgins captured top honors in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:23.44 at the RIC Invitational as he qualified for both the Division III New England Championships and NEICAAA Championships in the event. Also ran a leg on the Bears’ 4x400-meter relay squad which won the meet title with a time of 3:29.75. Currently ranks first among Division III New England student-athletes in the 600, while the 4x400-meter relay team ranks 19th in all of Division III.
Joshua Moore
Bridgewater State
Sophomore • Cape May, N.J.
Moore captured the meet title in the triple jump (13.20m/43’3.75”) and placed second in the long jump (6.68m/21’11”) at the RIC Invitational. Recorded Division III New England Championships qualifying marks in both events. Currently ranks 36th in the triple jump nationally and second in New England.
Jacob DeAndrade
Bridgewater State
Freshman • Taunton, Mass.
DeAndrade placed second in the 200-meter dash (23.72) and second in the finals of the 60-meter dash (7.20) at the RIC Invitational this past weekend. Qualified for the Division III New England Championships in the 60. Currently ranks eighth among Division III New England student-athletes in the 60 and 13th in the 200.
