After an outstanding season that saw him repeat as the MASCAC Player of the Year and lead the Lancers to back-to-back regular season and tournament titles, Aaron Nkrumah added All-American to his list of career honors.
Nkrumah, a junior from Worcester, Mass., earned his second straight MASCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Year after helping the Lancers to 10-2 MASCAC record and the regular season title. He closed out the regular season first in total points with 529, second in defensive rebounds with 198 while averaging 19.6 points and 8.1 rebounds plus 66 steals, 65 assists and 22 blocks on the year. In his best scoring output of the season, Nkrumah tallied 41 points with seven rebounds and four assists in the win over Salem State.
Nkrumah ended the year with 561 points, recording his career 1,000th in just two seasons, in the NCAA first round game versus Catholic University, to go along with 231 rebounds, 69 assists and 70 steals on the year.
