| Animashaun averaged 26 points on 15-26 (57.7%) shooting, 14.5 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and two steals in two games for the Vikings. The senior went for 25 points, 19 rebounds and a pair of blocks in a 91-87 loss to UMass Dartmouth. He scored 27 points, which included going 17-22 from the free throw line with 10 rebounds and seven blocks in a 99-91 defeat to Keene State College. |
Rookie of the Week
Xavier Betancourt, Fitchburg State
Freshman, Guard, Tampa, Fla.
Betancourt averaged 6.5 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals
and two blocks per game in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. Netted one point,
seven boards, four assists, one steal and one block in a 90-79 win over
Clark University before adding 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting as well as
three boards, two assists, five steals and three blocks in an 81-80 triumph
against Dean College.
