Framingham State's Leach Named As New England Football Conference Co-Offensive Player Of The Week

Framingham, Mass. - Senior running back Dave Leach (Chelmsford, Mass.) was selected as one of three New England Football Conference (NEFC) Offensive Players of the Week for the week of September 26th. Leach shared the honor with Bridgewater State senior running back Justin Fuller and Salve Regina University quarterback Jeff St. Onge.
Leach had a career day on Saturday as he rushed a school record 43 times for a career-high 270 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry and scored on two one-yard carries and runs of four and ten yards. His four touchdowns also ties the school record for touchdowns and points in a single game. Leach also made two catches for 25 yards and returned two kicks for 47 yards at the Rams defeated Fitchburg State 40-37 on Homecoming and Family Weekend at Framingham State.
