Bridgewater State's Adam Couch and Isaiah Wright along with Framingham State's Jared Martino and Najier Monteiro and WestConn's Dae'Shawn Allen take home the MASCAC Football Offensive, Co-Special Teams, Defensive, Co-Special Teams and Rookie of the Week awards.

Offensive Player of the Week |
Couch rushed for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns and added four receptions for 55 yards to amass 134 all purpose yards to pace the BSU offense in the 35-28 MASCAC win over Western Connecticut State University. Scored on touchdown runs of two and three yards. The run from two yards out tied the game up at 14 while his three yard punch in gave the Bears the 21-14 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. |
Defensive Player of the Week |
Martino registered 10 tackles, including seven solo with a half sack and 3.5 tackles for a loss of seven total yards in the Rams’ 9-8 win over Westfield State. Held the Owls to 32 rushing yards and less than a yard averaged per carry. |
Co-Special Teams Player of the Week |
Wright jumpstarted the Bears’ scoring in a key 35-28 MASCAC win over Western Connecticut State University with a school record-tying 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Tied Jim Pirello’s mark for longest kickoff return set in 1971. The return for a TD marked his second of the season as he tied the Bears’ single-season mark in 1990. Averaged 38 yards on three kickoff returns in the win.

Monteiro blocked the Owls attempt at a game-winning 32 yard field goal with under 10 seconds remaining in the game in the Rams’ 9-8 win over Westfield State.

Rookie of the Week |
Allen caught seven passes for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 35-28 loss at Bridgewater State. He also returned three kickoffs for 122 yards with a long of 54 yards against the Bears. His touchdown catches were for 12 and 15 yards. |
