The UMass Dartmouth duo of Jalyn Aponte and Mike Henricksen along with Bridgewater State's Shane Drake and Jacob Morris of Plymouth State take home the MASCAC Football Offensive, Defensive, Special Teams and Rookie of the Week honors.

Offensive Player of the Week |
Aponte helped the Corsairs offense in a critical MASCAC on Saturday. He carried the ball 23 times for a season-high 122 yards. Averaging 5.3 yards per carry, with a long of 14 yards, he punched in two touchdowns. Both of his scores (3 yards & 2 yards) came in the fourth quarter to break open a close game as the Corsairs defeated Bridgewater State on the road, 34-14 to move into first place in the conference standings. |
Defensive Player of the Week |
Henricksen anchored a Corsairs defense that held Bridgewater State to just 14 points in Saturday’s critical victory. He recorded nine tackles, including four solo. Of his tackles, 2.5 were a loss of 10 yards, while he had 1.5 sacks for a loss of nine yards. Henricksen helped lead a defense that limited the previously unbeaten in the MASCAC Bears, to just 51 yards rushing and 200 total yards in the game as UMass Dartmouth won 34-14 to move into first place. |
Special Teams Player of the Week |
Drake averaged 44.6 yards on seven punts with a long of 59 yards in the Bears’ 34-14 MASCAC setback to UMass Dartmouth. Also averaged 61.7 yards on three kickoffs with one touchback.

Rookie of the Week |
Morris made the most of his first career catch, snagging a 53-yard Hail Mary at the front of the end zone with no time left on the clock as Plymouth State shocked Westfield State, 20-19. Morris elevated over three Owls? defenders to make the clean catch and secure the walk-off win. |
