Offensive Player of the Week |
D'Emilia accounted for eight touchdowns (seven in the first half alone) and threw for a school record 345 yards in the Bears’ 56-20 Homecoming victory over UMass Dartmouth. Completed 15 of 27 pass attempts for a school record-tying five touchdowns and rushed for 53 yards and three touchdowns as he amassed 398 yards of total offense. Also caught a two-point conversion pass as he had a hand in 50 of the team’s 56 points. |
Defensive Player of the Week |
Silvia led a solid defensive effort for the Bears in a 56-20 Homecoming win over UMass Dartmouth as he notched a team-best 12 tackles (ten solo) with two for a loss and a forced fumble that resulted in a score. The Bears’ defense forced six turnovers in the game and held the high-powered Corsair offense to just 20 points. |
Special Teams Player of the Week |
Lampros made a 23-yard field goal as well as 4-of-5 extra points in the Buccaneers’ 37-0 victory over Fitchburg State. He also punted the ball three times for 167 yards for an average of 55.1 yards with a long punt of 60 yards. |
Rookie of the Week |
McMahon recorded his first two collegiate interceptions and added four solo tackles to go along with a pass breakup in the Bears’ 56-20 Homecoming win over UMass Dartmouth. Both of his interceptions, one of which was a 33-yard return, led to touchdowns. The Bears’ defense forced six turnovers in the game and held the high-powered Corsair offense to just 20 points. |
