WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The four nominees from Week 8 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week! Voting is open until Wednesday at noon. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Thursday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Bridgewater StateBridgewater QB Stefano D'Emilia steps back and launches a quick pass as receiver Travis Bassett cuts across midfield. Bassett then turns on the jets outracing the defense 70 yards for the touchdown. |
Play No. 2 - Plymouth StatePlymouth State QB Zack Edwards fakes the handoff then sails the ball 30 yards to Jacob Szulc who then races down the sideline for the 55 yard touchdown. |

Play No. 3 - UMass DartmouthIn the classic example of a flea flicker play, UMass Dartmouth QB Stephen Gacioch hands it off the Matt Mitchell who then turns and passes it back to Gacioch who launches it towards the endzone where Jacen Hudson outleaps his defender and brings the ball down for the 23 yard touchdown. |
