WESTFIELD, Mass. -- The MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week highlights the top plays from each conference game of the weekend, and asks fans to vote on their favorite.
The four nominees from Week 2 are embedded below. Watch each highlight, and vote for the play that you think is the MASCAC Football Play-of-the-Week! Voting is open until Wednesday at noon. The vote totals and the winning play will be announced Thursday on the MASCAC website and social media sites.
Play No. 1 - Fitchburg StateFitchburg State's Brandon Brown gives the handoff to teammate Jacqua Solomon who avoids a tackle and finds a hole in the Castleton line to take it 24 yards for the score. |
Play No. 2 - Western Conn. StateAs a Dean pass sails through the air, WCSU's Jaret DeVellis intercepts it, racing down the field where he is remains untouched until a Dean player attempts to tackle him. DeVellis bounces off running to the endzone for the touchdown. |

Play No. 3 - Westfield StateWestfield State running back Travon Holder takes the handoff then races downfield before two Western New England defenders attempt to take him down, but Holder rolls off the final attempt into the pylon for the score. |
Play No. 4 - Worcester StateWorcester State quarterback Noah Brum with some time in the pocket is able to find Cam Charette who makes a spectacular catch out of the reach of the defender in the back of the endzone for the 15 yard touchdown. |
