Fleeting was 13-for-17 (76 percent) with 218 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another in three quarters of play in the Colonials’ 49-23 victory over Worcester State. Finished with touchdown passes of six and 39 yards with a rushing touchdown of three yards all in the first half.
Jaquan Harris
Framingham State
Senior • Defensive Back • Boston, Mass.
Harris recorded five interceptions, tying the NCAA Division III single game record, with two solo tackles in the Rams’ 32-16 win over Fitchburg State. His first interception was returned 19 yards and led to the Rams first score of the game. The fourth interception was made at the Framingham State one-yard line.
Garvey returned a 90-yard kick for a touchdown on the reverse handoff in the Owls’ 35-28 win over Massachusetts Maritime. Finished with 132 return yards and added four catches for 21 yards.
Jacob Burkhead
UMass Dartmouth
Freshman • Defensive Back • Plymouth, Mass.
Burkhead tied a team-high with a career-best 10 tackles, including eight solo in the Corsairs’ 30-27 setback to Curry College. Registered his first career fumble recovery in the second quarter that led to a field goal.
