Jack Lavanchy Lavanchy set BSU single-game records for both receptions and receiving yards as he hauled in 14 receptions for 254 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Bears’ 27-20 setback to Western Connecticut State. Scored on touchdown passes of 15 and 12 yards. Longest reception was for 64 yards and also added a 44-yard catch. His 254-yard game is the second-most receiving yards since the MASCAC started football in 2013 and currently marks the seventh highest receiving yardage total in Division III this season and the 14-catch performance is tied for ninth. Also became the sixth receiver in program history to reach the century mark for career receptions (112) and the seventh to achieve the 1,500-yard receiving milestone (1,506). |
