Player and Rookie of the Week
Samuel Palmer, Westfield State
First Year, Outfield, Medfield, Mass.
Palmer batted .556 (10-18) with two doubles, a triple, home run, seven RBI, five runs scored, a stolen base and . 944 slugging percentage in a 3-1 week for the Owls. Belted a home run and a double in the 6-5 setback to Coast Guard. Went 6-for-9 with a double, triple, five RBI and two runs scored in the doubleheader sweep of Fitchburg State and added a hit and run scored in the 4-2 win over Fitchburg State on Friday.

Pitcher of the Week
Matt Josselyn, Bridgewater State 
Graduate, Pitcher, Hanson, Mass.
Josselyn tossed seven scoreless innings in the Bears’ 18-0 MASCAC win over MCLA. Scattered seven hits, walked three and fanned a season-high nine batters to pick up the win on the mound.
