BOSTON, MA - Saint Josephs' (6-15, 0-4 GNAC) lost to conference
rival Emerson College (9-7, 4-2) on Saturday morning and dropped
the second match to Framingham State, 3-1, in the afternoon
contest. SJC setter Samantha
Varrell '12 (Portsmouth, NH) recorded 28 assists,
nine digs and four service aces for the day.
Mary Hoyt '11 (Rochester, NH)
posted 14 digs and five kills, Laura
Moreau '12 (Rollinsford, NH) had 12 digs and four
aces, Jordan Pelczar '12
(Meredith, NH) collected 11 digs and Katie
Boccanelli '12 (Cottonwood, AL) recorded 12 kills
and two blocks in the tri-match.
Saint Joseph's will travel to Boston on Tuesday to face off against
GNAC opponent Suffolk University (4-11, 2-4 GNAC) in a 7:00 PM
match.
