Women’s Volleyball Raided By Vikings
PAXTON, MA : The Anna Maria College women's volleyball team lost in four sets to visiting Salem State University on Tuesday evening in Paxton, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After Anna Maria stormed back to tie it in the second set at one apiece, Salem State pulled away with a dominant performance in the third.
- Anna Maria junior middle blocker Ashley Sheehan (Medford, MA) led the AMCATS with nine service aces, four kills and five digs on the night.
- Salem State senior outside hitter Genevieve Kempster (Hopedale, MA) led the Vikings with 14 kills and six digs.
- Anna Maria sophomore setter Julia Tarantino (Pembroke, MA) finished with a season-high 19 set assists with 11 digs.
- Salem State freshman Eva Haralabatos (Melrose, MA) setup the Vikings with 32 set assists, seven service aces, five kills and eight digs.
- The Vikings had a 20-13 advantage in service aces.

Anna Maria will be back on the court on Saturday when they host GNAC rivals Lasell University and Albertus Magnus College in a tri-match beginning at 10:00 a.m.
