HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Cougars had a quick start to the game, going up 6-0 over the Falcons. Fitchburg would make that up quickly on back to back three pointer shots made by junior Rylie Harlow (Hanson, MA). The Cougars quickly took back the lead for the rest of the quarter off the nine points by guard Kumi Tamura and the six points by guard Jaqueline Faulise, making the score 21-10. The Falcons would end the half on an insane half-court buzzer beater by sophomore Alexis DeSimone (Ashburnham, MA), making the score 44-27 Cougars.

-  The Falcons continued to play a hard-fought second half, but Clark continued their scoring spree by putting up 42 points in the second half. The Falcons had a very good offensive second half as well, scoring 30 points, but they just could not keep up with the Cougars ending the game 86-57.
